Additional information
Enlisted in Rarotonga 1 July 1916. Discharged as medically unfit 26 August 1916 before proceeding to service overseas. Advice received from the RSA in Rarotonga 4 June 1926 stated he had died, however the date he died was not recorded. The Cook Islands correspondence relating to a request for a military headstone states that he died 21 October 1918. While his military headstone reflects this date, the Cook Islands death register records his date of death as 13 May 1918, as stated by the informant, local Police Constable Kiriparu on 11 June 1918.
