Enlisted 4 February 1918 in Rarotonga and 12 March 1918 at Narrow Neck Military Training Camp Auckland New Zealand and served with the NZ Mounted Rifle Bde. Training Regiment and Base Depot. Transferred to Rarotongan Company 18 September 1918. Embarked to New Zealand on SS Malta 14 December 1918 and discharged 20 March 1919.
