Additional information
Enlisted 1 July 1916 and embarked at Wellington 16 November 1916 on SS Manuka to disembark at Suez 27 December 1916. Attached to New Zealand Mounted Rifle Bde Training Regiment and Base Depot, El Arish and posted to the Rarotongan Company 7 April 1917. Assigned to the 10th Heavy Battery Royal Artillery from 5 October to 9 November 1917. Admitted to various hospitals over the next few months. Embarked on SS Malta 14 December 1918 for New Zealand and discharged 20 March 1919.
