Enlisted in Rarotonga 4 February 1918. Embarked on SS Manuka at Wellington 13 June 1918 for Sydney and embarked on SS Lyttleton for Suez 24 June 1918. Disembarked in Suez 4 August 1918 and was posted to the Rarotongan Company 18 September 1918. Embarked to New Zealand SS Malta and arrived in Wellington 28 January 1919 and discharged 20 March 1919.
