Enlisted in Rarotonga 1 July 1916. Posted to Rarotongan Company at Belah, Palestine 25 August 1917. Admitted to 77th Casualty Clearing Station Jaffa with fever 11 February 1918. Died 16 February 1918 and buried 17 February 1918 in the Ramleh War Cemetery, Chaplain J. MacBeath officiating.
