Additional information
Enlisted in Rarotonga 28 September 1915. Disembarked at Suez 15 March 1916 and embarked for France at Port Said 9 April 1916. Served in the New Zealand Māori (Pioneer) Battalion and for some time was in hospitals in the United Kingdom with pneumonia. Transferred to the Rarotongan Company 14 January 1918 and sailed from Marseille 21 January 1918. Posted to the Rarotongan Company 5 March 1918. Returned to New Zealand on SS Malta and was discharged 20 March 1919.
