Headstone/grave location
Attested at Rarotonga 4 February 1918 and enlisted at Narrow Neck Military Training Camp Auckland New Zealand 12 March 1918. Disembarked at Suez 4 August 1918 and posted to Training Regiment. Transferred to Rarotongan Company 18 September 1918. Sick to hospital 24 October 1918 and discharged 29 October 1918. Embarked for New Zealand per SS Malta 14 December 1918. Was ill on SS Malta and was off loaded for medical treatment in Fremantle, Australia and put into isolation 12 January 1919 with pnuemonia. Discharged 9 July 1919.
Buried in an unmarked grave in the family burial ground at Te Kopua, Tavaenga Rd, Mangaia, Cook Islands.
