Additional information
Enlisted 9 July 1916. Disembarked at Suez 27 December 1916 and was employed at the NZ Mounted Rifle Bde Training Regiment and Base Depot at Moascar. Marched into Kantara 17 April 1917. On 11 August 1918 he was admitted to the 48th Stationary Hospital, Gaza with measles. He was transferred to the 24th Stationary Hospital at Abbassia on 14 August 1918 before being transferred to the 27th General Hospital in Cairo. Posted to the Rarotongan Company 1 October 1918. Returned to New Zealand on SS Malta 14 December 1918 and discharged 20 March 1919.
