Enlisted 30 September 1915. Disembarked at Suez 15 March 1915 and proceeded to France 9 April 1915. Detached to the Rarotongan Company 14 January 1918 and embarked for Egypt 21 January 1918 and disembarked at Alexandria 4 February 1918. Posted to the Rarotongan Company 15 February 1918 and then to New Zealand Mounted Rifle Bde Training Regiment & Base Depot 7 March 1918 and rejoined the Rarotongan Company 1 July 1918. Embarked on SS Malta 14 December 1918. Discharged 20 March 1919.
