Additional information
Enlisted in Rarotonga 25 September 1915. Embarked for France at Egypt 9 April 1916 and served in the New Zealand Māori Pioneer Battalion until being transferred to the Rarotongan Company 14 January 1918. Posted to the Rarotongan Company 15 February 1918. After disembarkation from SS Malta in January 1919 he was sick with pneumonia and transferred from Somes Island to Trentham Camp Hospital New Zealand. Remained in New Zealand for treatment until 7 April 1919 and was discharged 5 May 1919.
