Enlisted at Narrow Neck Military Training Camp 12 March 1918, embarked on SS Manuka at Wellington 13 June 1918 and disembarked at Sydney 18 June 1918. Embarked at Sydney 24 June 1918 and disembarked at Suez 4 August 1918. Posted to the Rarotongan Company 18 September 1918. Embarked on SS Malta for New Zealand 14th December 1918 and discharged 20 March 1919.
His Victory Medal was returned undelivered.
