Attested at Rarotonga 4 February 1918 and enlisted 12 March 1918 at Narrow Neck Military Training Camp Auckland New Zealand. Admitted to ships hospital 26 June 1918. Disembarked at Suez 4 August 1918. Posted to Training Regiment, Ismailia 4 August 1918 and transferred to Rarotongan Company 18 September 1918. Embarked for New Zealand on SS Malta 14 December 1918 and discharged 20 March 1919.
Buried in an old burial ground in an unmarked grave, Teenui, Atiu.
