Additional information
Enlisted at Rarotonga 1 June 1916. He developed pneumonia on the troopship on the voyage to Egypt and was landed at Colombo on 14 December 1916 and admitted to the military hospital. Mrs Wigmore of 'The Springs', Guildford Crescent, Colombo, offered to take him into her house for convalescence after the convoy departed and he was to be called forward later. Arrived Suez 28 January 1917. Posted to Rarotongan Company 1 June 1917. Discharged 20 March 1919.
