Attested at Rarotonga 4 February 1918 and enlisted at Narrow Neck Military Training Camp Auckland New Zealand 12 March 1918. Embarked SS Manuka to Sydney 16 June 1918 and disembarked at Sydney 18 June 1918. Embarked SS Port Lyttleton at Sydney 24 June 1916. Disembarked at Suez 4 August 1918 and marched in and posted to Training Regiment at Ismailia. Transferred to Rarotongan Company 18 September 1918. Admitted to hospital 24 September 1918. Embarked for New Zealand on SS Malta 14 December 1918.
Admitted to Ship's Hospital at Sea 22 January 1919. Discharged 20 March 1919.
Military headstone located at Cook Islands Christian Church, Ivirua, Mangaia, Cook Islands. Burial location unknown.
