Enlisted at Rarotonga 16 February 1918 and embarked at Wellington 13 June 1918. Disembarked at Suez 4 August 1918 and posted to the New Zealand Mounted Rifle Bde Training Regiment and Base Depot. Posted to the Rarotongan Company 18 September 1918. Embarked on SS Malta for New Zealand 14 December 1918 and discharged 20 March 1919.
Service documents records date of death as 2 July 1923, while his death certificate and hospital records the date of death as 30 June 1923.
Military plaque unveiled 01/07/2017.
