Attested in Rarotonga 4 February 1918 and enlisted at Narrow Neck Military Training Camp Auckland New Zealand 12 March 1918. Disembarked at Suez 4 August 1918 and posted to the Rarotongan Company on the same day. Embarked for New Zealand on SS Malta 14 December 1918 and discharged 20 March 1919.
