Enlisted 1 July 1916. Disembarked from SS Malwa at Suez 27 December 1916. Posted to Rarotongan Company 7 April 1917. Returned sick on SS Malta and was discharged 20 March 1919.
April 2024 the grave was unmarked as the military headstone had been removed to facilitate the interment of another family member several years ago.
