Additional Information
Enlisted 12 March 1918 at Narrow Neck Military Training Camp Auckland New Zealand. Disembarked at Suez 4 August 1918 and posted to the Rarotongan Company 18 September 1918. Embarked for New Zealand per SS Malta 14 December 1918 and discharged 20 March 1919.
Also served as a New Zealand Coastwatcher/Police Officer/Coastwatcher/Radio Operator at Rarotonga Station during WWII.
Date of death on headstone is recorded as 23/01/1955 which is incorrect. The correct date of death is 23/01/1956 (as per Cook Islands death register).
