Additional information
Enlisted 1 July 1916, and posted to the Rarotongan Company 7 April 1917. Evacuated from Haifa on the Hospital Ship Assaye to Egypt on the 7 November 1918. Died in Atiu 6 April 1929 of tuberculosis.
His official military headstone records his date of death incorrectly as '6 - 4 - 92' when it should say '6 - 4 - 29'.
Cook Islands Roll of Honour board at RSA Nikao Rarotonga records his name as 'T. Teava'.
His name is not recorded on the Atiu cenotaph April 2019.
