Enlisted at Narrow Neck Military Training Camp Auckland New Zealand 12 March 1918. Disembarked at Suez 4 August 1918 and posted to the New Zealand Mounted Rifle Bde. Training Regiment and Base Depot. Embarked for New Zealand 14 December 1918. Discharged 20 March 1919 in Wellington, New Zealand. On the SS Malta roll list his first and last names are reversed as they are in some NZEF documentation.
