Additional Information
Enlisted 12 March 1918 at Narrow Neck Military Training Camp Auckland New Zealand. Embarked 13 June 1918 to disembark at Suez 4 August 1918 and posted to the Rarotongan Company 18 September 1918. Returned as an invalid on SS Malta and discharged 20 March 1919.

Until April 2024, the headstone had been on family land at Turangi, Ngatangiia, Rarotonga. The family reunited the headstone with the grave and an unveiling service was held on the eve of Anzac Day, April 24 2024
