Additional information
Prior to enlistment, was employed as the manager of the Singer Sewing Machine Company in Auckland. Enlisted 17 January 1918 at 37 years old and commenced training 23 May 1918 at Trentham Military Camp. He was posted to the Rarotongan Reinforcements at Narrow Neck Camp 20 July 1918 and promoted to Sergeant. Discharged 12 December 1918.
