Additional information
Enlisted 30 September 1915 and embarked for Egypt 4 February 1916. Disembarked at Suez 15 March 1916 and later transferred to France with the New Zealand Pioneer Battalion 9 April 1916. On leave 27 July to 9 August 1917. Admitted to hospital 23 October 1917 to 27 October 1917. Detached to the Rarotongan Company 14 January 1918 and embarked for Egypt 21 January 1918. Admitted to various hospital units 30 June to 20 July 1918. Admitted to 36th Stationary Hospital 26 July 1918 and discharged to duty 30 July 1918. Embarked for New Zealand 14 December 1918. After disembarkation from SS Malta was sick and remained in New Zealand for treatment at Featherston Camp until embarking on SS Moana for Rarotonga 1 April 1919. Discharged 5 May 1919.
