Additional Information
Enlisted 1 July 1916, disembarked Egypt 27 December 1916 and posted to the New Zealand Mounted Rifle Bde Training Regiment and Base Depot. Posted to the Rarotongan Company 7 April 1917 and to the Heavy Battery Royal Artillery from 5 October 1917 to 9 November 1917. Embarked New Zealand on SS Malta 14 December 1918. After disembarkation from SS Malta he was sick and remained in New Zealand for treatment at Trentham Camp and then to Featherston Camp Hospital when the main body returned to the Cook Islands. Discharged and returned to Rarotonga on the SS Moana on 7 April 1918.
