Enlisted 12 March 1918 in Rarotonga. Disembarked 3 August 1918 at Suez. Admitted to the Government Hospital and transferred to the 2nd Australian Stationary Hospital, Moascar between 4 August 1918 and 1 October 1918. Posted to the New Zealand Mounted Rifle Bde Training Regiment and Base Depot. Embarked on SS Malta 14 December 1918 and was discharged 20 March 1919.
